Steven's Journal, December 4th, 2009 -
Woke up today, with the smell of a raspy thick morning breath clenching my nostrils. As I slowly opened my eyes to my dark room, I noticed to familiar faces: Chris and James, both smiling like retards. I looked to the clock, 11:10. Had I really slept this late in durring the day? Then I remember, I didn't get to sleep until 2am last night.
James and Chris, who I haven't seen in a while, came over to hang out. They grab me and take me out into the shopping district. It reeks. Every where I go, it's always fancy cars (which all cars now-a-days look like electric shavers), the buzzing and ringing of phones, and the hot scorching sun beaming down on everyone's rich wasted lives. I don't envy the people who work 5 days a week just to bring home a dough of cash to satisfy themselves with big screen TV's or luxury furniture.
Is this the world I live in? People work dead end jobs that they hate to buy shit they don't need. Saturated as it may seem, I'm already used to this life style of Orange County... yet deep down, every day, I get more and more sick of it.
Suppose it could always be worse. What am I saying? Of course it could always be worse.
James, Chris and I go to Barnes & Nobles for my request. I felt like reading. But what did I want to read? As I walk past the built in Starbucks inside Barnes & Nobles, containing all the filthy rich, stubborn, metro coffee drinkers, I remember I wanted to buy Watchmen, the graphic novel.
I just now got home, and already past the first chapter, I am sucked into the story of Watchmen. For those who have read it and know Rorschach, the badass vigilante, who writes in his journal, I guess you could say his philosophy on society shares a similar response to mine: It's all bullshit.

Haha sorry about all that ^^^^
Just trying out a critical journal like how Rorschach does it.
Anyways, seriously though, things are boring now-a-days. Not much to report. Thinking of getting a new job because the job I have now isn't getting much business due to the fucky economy. How would working at Costco sound?
At least I have money saved up rather than being broke as a joke. I saved up over 800$ after over 6 months of working to go on a trip to Washington this winter, but that plan didn't work out. Seriously, everything these days revolves around money. Was life always this difficult and complex? How was it in medieval times? I would had loved to just been a simple farmer living on a 10 acre land all by myself or with a lover or some shit like that. I didn't need a big house, not a white picket fence. No. Just me and anyone who cared to tag along, where money and built societies wouldn't bother me.
I really need a vacation is what I need. Right now, all I feel like doing is getting out of Orange County.
